What comes to mind when you bring together some of the most valuable cars on the planet, one of the most beautiful coastal resorts on earth, and blend them with music, food, drinks and the manicured greens of a championship golf course? None other than the Dana Point Concours d'Elegance. The three-day celebration will feature more than 200 European and American classics and more than 50 vintage motorcycles on the prestine grounds of Monarch Beach Golf Links at the prestigious St. Regis Resort in Dana Point, CA. The spectacular vehicles will carefully dot the St. Regis lawn, in the fairways of Monarch Beach Golf Links and into Sea Terrace Park where a vendor village and other fun activities abound for visitors of all ages.
The Concours d'Elegance kicks off Saturday with a Private Collection Tour featuring some of the most exclusive automobile portfolios in the country. Other scheduled activities include a ladies luncheon, fashion show, and Concours d'Elegance's first-ever Beach Cruisers event. The celebration will host more than 200 VWs, Woodies and assorted Hot Rods to honor Orange County's surf culture. Sunday morning will highlight the weekend as hundreds of classic cars and vintage motorcycles line the St. Regis golf course to be judged in more than 30 classes and categories. With all the festivities, it's no wonder that thousands are looking forward to the fun, but it's also great to know how this event gives back, too. A portion of the funds raised will support multiple charities across Southern California, including the Carroll Shelby Foundation, the Pet Project Foundation, South Orange County School of the Arts, Petersen Automotive Museum, and Art Center College of Design.
